Helping Low Income Students Achieve Academic Excellence
Mission Statement
Our purpose is to raise funding for young students in poverty-stricken areas in the central and western regions of China. All proceeds will be used towards facilitating better learning conditions for students situated in these areas.
About Us
Galaxy Arts Center is a non-profit organization established in 2004, based in Orange County, California. Our organization promotes the exchange of Chinese and Western cultures through music and the arts. We encourage students of all ages to give back to the community through musical and artistic expression.
In 2006, the Charitable Donation Team was established and sponsored by several enthusiastic students and parents who sough to expand their contributions to overseas communities. The team’s goal is to raise funding through student-run music and dance concerts, in which the donations collected from these events will be given to education facilities in poverty-stricken areas of China.
On August 28th, 2017, a donation of 20,000RMB (around $3000 USD) has been distributed to eight high-achieving students for their education needs. On September 11th, 2017, a donation of 2,000RMB (around $300 USD) has been used to purchased school supplies for 49 students.

美国银河艺术中心爱心团队资助—纪实
各位家长、老师、同学们：
大家好！今天美国银河艺术中心蒲玉宁及几位热心的人士对我校及上届六年级毕业孩子们的无限关爱，为我校学生带来了爱心基金，这浓浓的爱心让我们心潮澎湃，激动万分，让我们充分感受到了社会这个大家庭的温暖。至此，我代表大漆完小的全体师生，向各位爱心人士表示热烈欢迎和最诚挚的感谢！
田进校长就本次资助作了强调:本次资助对象:我校在校学生及刚毕业的七年级学生且同时具备以下条件：1、家庭经济贫困或父母残疾等其它所致经济困难。2、品学兼优。3、近三年连续被学校评为三好生或优秀生。4、今后必须弘扬或传承祖国优秀民族文化。5，今后必须要传承爱心资助，回报家乡，回报祖国。本次资助现金人民币20000元。学习用品多件，折合人民币2000元。
“赠人玫瑰，手有余香”。他们的善举，给我们师生的心灵带来了莫大的慰藉和洗礼。“行善有道，善行天下”，慈善是一项公众的事业，也是我们每个人社会责任感的体现。我相信，每一位师生会接过这爱的火炬，学会感恩，学会回报，将这爱的事业传承和发扬下去。同时，我希望同学们要不负众望，奋力拼搏，用优异的成绩来回报各爱心人士的关爱，实现自己的梦想！进而实现我们伟大的中国梦！
我代表蒲先生及爱心人士提几点想法:同学们，少年强则国强，助学育人是一项崇高的社会事业。是一项长期的社会工作，今后，我们要以此次捐助活动为基点，不断探索捐资助学的新方式；不断拓宽助学覆盖面，采取更加有力的措施，积极动员社会有能力的人，有实力的企业，有条件的团体都来参与捐资助学和扶贫帮困活动，都来关心国家人才的培养，都来关注贫困学生的成长、共同为实施科教兴国战略、构建社会主义和谐社会献计出力、为促进民族发展、实现中华腾飞抒写浓墨重彩之笔。同时也殷切希望今天受到资助的同学，倍加珍惜来之不易的学习机会，将此次接受资助作为人生道路上新的里程碑，倍加努力，更加勤奋地钻研学习，全面发展，励志成才，早日实现报效祖国，报效人民，回报社会的宏愿。
老师们、同学们！让我们再一次用热烈的掌声向关心爱护我们的各位爱心人士表示衷心的感谢！
