The results of the 2024 Examination will be determined by end of January to mid-February. Candidates who DID NOT pass will receive an email notification in before February 2025. Candidates who passed will not receive an email. Due to the pandemic and shipping restrictions, this year’s grade examination certificate and evaluation form is estimated to arrive by the end of February. Thank you for your patience.

- Examinees may recording using a smartphone or video camera. Recording MUST BE IN THE FOLLOWING FORMATS:
⬩ MP4 (preferred), MOV. Please DO NOT submit any other format.
⬩Video must have both video and audio (in sync). Video quality is at least 720p. 1080p preferred.

ABOUT
CCOM Chinese Instrument Grade Exam
The Central Conservatory of Music (CCOM) of China is China’s most senior musical institute offering accredited examinations to applicants. The Standard Grade Examination Committee of the CCOM has the mandate of expanding musical education and its stylistic tradition, and it provides authoritative musical achievement level assessment for overseas Chinese instrumental musicians and students.
The examination material is based on the assessment criteria utilized by the CCOM. The materials which are compiled by highly experienced experts have an increasing level of difficulty with an emphasis on the core techniques as the principles of the assessment. Students who follow the basic increments of the learning material will find themselves steadily progressing, reaching new levels of achievement.
To expand the culture of Chinese music, the CCOM, in collaboration with Galaxy Arts Center , will host a Chinese Instrument Grade Examination in the United States. Candidates will be tested by examiners from CCOM of Beijing on material compiled by the CCOM, and subsequently will be issued a Certificate of Accomplishment by the CCOM. The aim of this collaboration is to raise the professional quality of Chinese music performance, and to encourage the local development of Chinese music.

为了普及及发扬中华民族音乐文化，提高学习国乐的演奏水平和协助推动当地的国乐发展，中央音乐学院校外水平考级的委员会经过多次美国实地考查了解，最后选定与美国银河艺术中心共同合作，正式签订了合作协议书.在我们洛杉矶举办国乐水平等级考 (简称考级)。设定我们银河少年艺术团为中国中央音乐学院海外国乐演奏水平等级考试，洛杉矶地区唯一协办单位。
中央音乐学院是目前中国艺术院校中的一所国家重点高校，在中国及国外享有很高声誉的音乐学府，近几年来中央音乐学院除了在中国国内也在海外如：加拿大、德国、英国、日本、新加坡、马来西亚、台湾、香港、澳门等国家和地区设立了考级网点，并取得了显著成效。
在美国尤其在我们洛杉矶学习国乐的小孩越来越多，为了使学习国乐的人真正了解和感受到自己学习的路是否正确，还存在那些问题，如何改进等等。我们银河少年艺术团同中央音乐学院在美国建立了考级委员会，并提供权威性的水平鉴定与考核及培训工作。考级委员会本着普及音乐教育和培养更多的音乐人材为宗旨，以严谨的艺术作风和专业的教育为我们洛杉矶学习国乐的音乐人士提供了最好的平台。
2025年中央音乐学院海外音乐水平考级 美国洛杉矶考点考级简章
一、概述
中央音乐学院（Central Conservatory of Music）是中国最高音乐学府。为弘扬中华民族音乐文化，中央音乐学院自1989年起先后在多个国家和地区开展考级工作，本着普及音乐教育的宗旨，以严谨的学术作风和优良传统，为海内外业余学习中国乐器的音乐人士，提供专业权威的水平鉴定与考核。
为推动和加强中国与美国洛杉矶地区的文化交流与合作，美国洛杉矶地区的考级工作由Galaxy Arts Center（美国银河艺术中心）负责组织与实施，协助推动当地中乐发展。
1.考级专业
二胡、琵琶、扬琴、古筝、中阮、柳琴、竹笛、笙、唢呐。
2.报考级别与报名对象
各专业水平定为一至九级及演奏级。
凡学过以上专业，具有一定程度者均可报名参加，年龄不限。
二、报名
1.报名时间
即日起至2025年10月19日。
2.报名方式
网络报名。
*报名时须提供英文姓名、中文/本国姓名（如有）、性别、生日、手机号、报考专业、级别、曲目、邮寄地址、指导教师姓名及联系方式等。
证书数据将从考生提供的报名信息中提取，一经生成无法更改，请认真核对报名信息。

报名流程结束后，一律无法办理改报、退报。
四、考试及发证
1.考试形式：
录像考试形式。
2.考试时间：
2025年11年23日提交录像视频。
3.考试地点：
美国银河艺术中心。
4.成绩公布时间：
录像形式：约为考试结束后的2个月内，如遇中国寒、暑假及法定节假日等考级高峰期，成绩发布将酌情顺延。
5.发放证书：
约为成绩公布后2个月内。
注意事项
1.所有考生一律应使用正版中央音乐学院考级教材。
2.视频拍摄横屏录制，尺寸不低于720P，不高于1080P，视频帧率不大于30fps，视频文件不大于300M。不可翻录。
3.录制背景应干净整洁，考生须着装整齐，建议穿正装或演出服。
4.考生（至少上半身）以及完整的乐器须出现在镜头内。
5.考试时，考生须先在镜头前手持准考证，然后按照曲目顺序依次演奏。
6.考生应准备全部规定应考曲目，不得缺项，缺项视为不通过，不接受申诉。
7.所有专业的全部考级内容一律要求背谱演奏（年满18周岁以上的考生可例外）。在考生可视范围内不得摆放任何乐谱或纸张、写字板等疑似提示考试内容的物品（允许看谱的曲目，仅在演奏该曲目时允许将乐谱放置于考生面前），否则成绩将判为“不符合规范”，不接受申诉。
8.所考内容必须使用各专业对应的乐器来演奏，否则成绩为“不符合规范”，不接受申诉。
9.各专业考级时一律不得使用伴奏或伴奏音频。所有专业均不得使用弱音器。
10.各专业演奏级考生必须具有本专业最高级证书，报考时须附上最高级证书副本。
11.考试以中文普通话进行，若考生在考试时需要传译服务，请在报名时注明。
考试内容
1.本次考试各专业一至演奏级口试部分免除考核。
2.古筝、二胡、琵琶、竹笛、笙、扬琴、柳琴、中阮、唢呐专业考试要求：
自选一首练习曲（可看谱）；自选一首乐曲（背谱）。

Grade Levels 考级级别
- Performance levels for all instruments are classified from Level one (1) to Nine (9), in addition to the highest level ranking, the Performance Certificate.
- Candidates applying for levels one (1) through nine (9) may apply for any levels they wish.
- Candidates are not allowed to apply for more than one levels for the same instrument within the same year.
- Candidates applying for the Performance Certificate should have received certification for Level 9 instrument practical exam.

Examination Material 考级教材
Only the Examination book (Overseas version) published by the Central Conservatory of Music Examination Board can be used.

Exam Fee varies by subject level. CCOM Board reserves the right to change the examination fee without prior notice. See Registration section for details.

Examination Requirements 考级要求
- Examination Levels 1-6: One practice piece and one music piece selected from the Examination music list of the corresponding Examination level.
- Examination Levels 7-9 and Performance Certificate: One practice piece and one music piece selected from the Examination music list of the corresponding Examination level.
- Candidate must bring their examination material into the testing area, regardless of the candidate’s preference to perform with or without their music. Failure to comply may result in disqualification from the examination.
- All candidates should play the selected music piece(s) memorized.
- Yangqin and Guzheng will be provided at the testing area. However, candidates may bring their own Yangqin/Guzheng if preferred. Candidates being tested on all other instruments are required to bring their own instruments.
- Instructors of candidates testing for Levels 1 to 4 of the assessment are allowed to help tune the candidates’ instruments. Candidates testing for Levels 5 and above are expected to tune their own instruments. In addition, candidates who bring their own Yangqin and Guzheng instruments are required to tune their own instruments.
- Due to time constraints or the performance of the candidate, the examiner may instruct to end the candidates’ performance at any time.
- No accompaniments are allowed for any level of assessment.

- 第七至演奏级: 自选练习曲一首、乐曲一首 (原则上传统和近代各一首，按个别乐器考级教材所订曲目而定)，合并两首。

- 考生老师可帮助一至四级的考生调弦，应考五级或以上者应自行调好弦入场。自带扬琴和古筝者应自行调弦。
- 因考级时间不足以给考生演奏整首乐曲时，主考老师可在能予考生评分的情况下，中断考生的演奏。
- 所有考级不可以用伴奏。

EXAMINATION RULES

CANDIDATES must arrive at the waiting area 30 minutes prior to the start of the exam to register with examination personnel. Candidates are allowed to start the exam only after their documentation and identification have been properly verified. Late arrivals may result in being disqualified from the examination.
考生须于应考时间前30分钟到达试场候考区向注场职员报到，经审核证件无讹，始准应考。迟到考生有可能被拒绝应考。

CANDIDATES who do not arrive on time are considered to have forfeited their examination and are not given the opportunity for a re-test or a refund. If the candidate suffers from a communicable illness and is unable to attend, but is able to provide proper medical documentation within ten days of the end of the examination, the test fee will be refunded.
考生因事未能按时应考者视为自动弃权，不予补考，也不退费。考生如因带有传染性的疾病，不应出席应考，并于考试期后10天内提出医生证明文件，可获退还已缴付的考试费，逾期申请恕不接受。

CANDIDATES are required to bring and present their personal identification. Candidates and related persons are expected to attend to their own personal belongings. The safety of young candidates is also the responsibility of the parent, teacher, or guardian of the young candidate who signs the application form.
考生须携带及呈视准考证及身份证明文件应考，如遗失准考证，必须尽快于试前办妥补发手续。考生或其他有关人等携往考级地点的财物，应自行保管，年幼考生在考级地点的人身安全，一概由家长、老师、或监护人负责。

WITH the exception of the representatives of the CCOM, local personnel of the assessment test, translator, and related staff, loitering, eavesdropping, watching, and either video or audio recording of any kind are strictly prohibited in front of the entrance to the examination area.
除中央音乐学院的代表、当地职员、传译员和有关工作人员外，任何人士不得停留或徘徊考室门外聆听、视看或拍录考试进行情况。

WITH the exception of equipment necessary to the examination, candidates are prohibited from carrying other items into the examination area. Violators may be disqualified from the examination.

THE examination will be conducted in Mandarin Chinese and/or basic English. If the candidate requires translation services, please specify the request for translation services upon registration for the examination.

THE candidate’s performance during the examination may be recorded by the examination authorities. This is to ensure fair assessment, to assist in grade adjustment, and for assessment analysis purposes. This recording may be stored (with identifying information removed), and is unavailable to outside personnel or to any examination candidates.
考生在考级演奏时，可能会被录影。此举主要为保证考级成绩得到公平的评审，评分调整和评委研讨之用。有关录影，可能作为不记名的存档，一律不对外提供或复制。

CANDIDATES who perform with their music pieces are responsible for turning their own pages, and must not require the assistance of the assessment panel. If a candidate requires assistance, the candidate must notify the staff at registration, and upon authorization, friends or acquaintances are allowed to help the participant turn their pages (instructors or parents are both not permitted to do this task).
看谱演奏的考生，在演奏时必须自翻乐谱，评委不会协助翻页。如考生有此需要，必须于报名时阐明，经批准后可由友人 (不是老师或家长) 代劳翻页。

EXAMINATION results, if passed, will be mailed to candidates’ instructors along with the CCOM certificate within 90 business days after the examination. Notification of failed examination will be sent via email after determination of results.

CCOM and Galaxy Arts Center reserve the right to the final assessment.
